Haven't I had Enough?

It seems as though lve spent the last few days with with a wash cloth and my comfort shoes. Slowly and with much care I have started the process of washing off the entrails of mud this dear girl has left me. You see, I received a heartfelt apology for these last few months, and with that I also got another glimpse of my best friend. Now that I have been reminded what is behind the muck and grime, I am prepared to take the time to make the person I can see seen by everyone. The only downfall in this situation is that i'm beginning to thrive on the time i'm spending with this boy..late night drives, walks to class, texting throughout the day, and the exchange of funny stories all are beginning to be the highlights of my day. Sadly if one of these things doesnt happen I am left wishing one had. I do not want to increase the longing I have for this boy! You would think that I would have had enough by now... The only reason I can think of as to why I would continute to put myself in this situation is the fact that love is selfless. I know this boy and I will not be together, but I cannot stand to see him be less than he is or can be. Sometimes there are more important things than ones feelings, and we need to be willing to make sacrifices. I only hope that my efforts are not in vain, and that I may accomplish what I am setting out to do.
