Comfort Shoe
You, like me, perhaps have had a pair of shoes that you've been wearing for quite some time and are completely worn out. Why do we keep these shoes? I believe it is because they allow us feel comfortable and at home. My pair of shoes like this could be classified as a slip on fabric-type shoe. A comfortable, accessible, and rational shoe. You see, I've been in love with this boy for as long as I can remember; nearly five years to be exact. What started out as an extremely strong friendship finally flourished into a romance that held something blissful and enchanting due to the fact that my love was returned. Despite this fact, I currently am walking through the shoe stores barefooted, with no intention or desire to seek for a better shoe. Why would I hunt for something new and different when I was completely satisfied with my slip on fabric shoe? Although that shoe was worn out, it was comfortable and friendly and most importantly, it fit perfectly to my foot. This boy understood the girl in the white sneakers more than I do myself. This causes me to ask myself: Where are my comfort shoes now? Why aren't they in my possession when I'm in desperate need for them? However, the question I should be asking is: Why can't I bring myself to walk to the display wall... pick up a new shoe... and ask to try it on?
